Responsibilities
- Install, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (Amazon EKS).
- Deploy applications into Kubernetes using Air Force Platform One Big Bang Service (uses Helm charts, Kustomize, and scripts)
- Provide advanced application administration and configuration for DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Coder, Nexus Repository Management, Atlassian Jira and Confluence).
- Implement security hardening (e.g. STIG) for operating system nodes and Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate routine operations by developing code scripts that make REST API calls into our DevSecOps tools.
- Strengthen our cloud-based IT OPS through automating configuration of cybersecurity tooling and development of our monitoring system, and Grafana dashboards.
Here's what you need
- A Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics OR at least 5 years of experience as a DevSecOps engineer.
- 1 year of experience using agile methodologies in the system development life cycle.
- 1 year of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code.
- 1 year of experience with Commercial Cloud Services.
- 1 year of experience with Kubernetes.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience with Helm
- Experience with GitOps
- Experience with AWS
Security Clearance
An active TS/SCI federal security clearance is required.
Pay
The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$127,900 - $175,100 USDBenefits
