About the role

The DevSecOps & Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Technical Director is responsible for leading the technical strategy and operations of the SRE team. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and security practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
  • Oversee security best practices and compliance within the SRE team.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or SRE roles.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and delivery.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with security tools and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, CIS benchmarks).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
