DevOps / Platform Deployment Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps / Platform Deployment Engineer to lead application deployment and platform automation in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments at Citizens Bank.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Harness
• Deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift), and Helm
• Manage secrets, TLS, IAM/RBAC, and security best practices
• Automate disaster recovery, backup, and recovery processes
• Configure networking components such as DNS, TLS, load balancers, reverse proxies, and firewalls
• Implement version control, release management, and rollback strategies
• Deploy and manage Java, Python, and Node.js applications

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT/DevOps experience
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure ARM, Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting
• Strong understanding of secrets management, TLS, IAM/RBAC, and security best practices
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and recovery automation
• Knowledge of networking components including DNS, TLS, load balancers, reverse proxies, and firewalls
• Experience with version control, release management, and rollback strategies
• Experience deploying and managing Java, Python, and Node.js applications

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred
