DevOps Lead

The company is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Lead/Architect to design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise DevOps capabilities, driving cloud transformation, automation, security, and platform engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the organization’s DevOps strategy, standards, and best practices across multiple engineering teams.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud‑native architectures on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Architect and manage end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE), and Helm.
- Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security, compliance, vulnerability scanning, and governance controls into the software delivery lifecycle.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, deployment speed, reliability, and system scalability.
- Ensure platform resilience through disaster recovery planning, high‑availability solutions, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Lead technical reviews, architecture governance, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
- Define and monitor KPIs, SLIs, SLOs, and operational metrics to improve platform reliability and customer experience.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management while maintaining performance and security standards.
- Support Agile and DevOps transformation programs by promoting automation, collaboration, and continuous delivery practices.
Pay
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $119,015 – $160,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini believes it may pay at the time of posting and may be adjusted based on factors such as geographic location, education, certifications, relevant experience, seniority, market considerations, and internal pay equity. In addition to base salary, the role may be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions where applicable.
