DevOps Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

Assist in migration and deployment of applications in both on-prem and cloud infrastructures. Support onboarding of new tenants and assist application developers in creating deployments, standing up common services, and recommending solutions for maximizing efficient use of hardware resources.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the Kubernetes landscape and familiarize with CNCF tools and software
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt)
• Experience with configuration management automation (Ansible, Puppet)
• Experience with application deployment using CI/CD and Git workflow (Pipelines utilizing GitLab, Jenkins)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with Linux (RHEL 9, RPM-based)
• Experience/exposure with metrics (Elastic)
• Experience working within a program of record supporting security requirements and system hardening
• Scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)

Requirements

• Minimum of a Top Secret with SCI eligibility required, CI Poly preferred
• Experience with either/or cloud platforms (Amazon/Azure) and/or hardware/virtualization (HPE, VMWare)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt)
• Experience with configuration management automation (Ansible, Puppet)
• Experience with application deployment using CI/CD and Git workflow (Pipelines utilizing GitLab, Jenkins)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with Linux (RHEL 9, RPM-based)
• Experience/exposure with metrics (Elastic)
• Experience working within a program of record supporting security requirements and system hardening
• Scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related
• Master’s Degree preferred
