Responsibilities

  • Manage servers and utilize various programming languages in a DevOps capacity.
  • Perform system or process evaluations, identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to the goals of the system or process.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and definition.
  • Create professional presentations using PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Use software such as Jira, Confluence, or similar to create user stories, plan sprints, or track work requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
  • Demonstrated experience as a developer.
  • Demonstrated experience with configuration management.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to work on customer site in Chantilly, VA.

  • Experience serving operational missions in an operational or technical capacity.
  • Experience working with different stakeholders.
  • Experience in contingency planning and continuity of operations to ensure critical activities are maintained during emergencies.
  • Experience creating project plans, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Experience working closely and collegiately with varied counterparts.
  • Experience fostering and facilitating strategic partnerships across organizational boundaries to positively impact delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure deadlines are met.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $155,550 – $210,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
