DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Driving improvements by automating IT and infrastructure processes.
• Provide onsite and remote guidance for Engineers and staff.
• Provide end user guidance to Ubuntu Linux, Mac OS, and Windows platforms when needed.
• Coordinate issue resolution with operations and engineering staff, working with domain specialists to resolve issues.
• Provide feedback, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing for platforms and services.
• Manage own time to fulfill tasks efficiently, in the correct priority and to the required level of quality, within the context of the objectives supplied by the manager.
• Participate in the deployment, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, WiFi, VPN and Cloud network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Production experience with automation and orchestration tools related to IT infrastructure.
• Production experience with Ansible, Terraform, Grafana or Prometheus.
• Production experience with Juniper Networks or Palo Alto Networks.
• Production experience with Rancher or Kubernetes.
• Experience participating in security framework audits such as SOC2 or ISO:27001.
• Experience with MinIO.
• Experience collaborating in an infrastructure-as-code production environment.
• Experience using Git for collaboration in an infrastructure-as-code production environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise delivering the right services at the right time in a rapidly changing business environment.
• A strong understanding of SSO concepts including SAML, OIDC and supporting users with MFA, etc.
• Excellent project and time management skills, ability to manage expectations in a deadline-driven environment and to balance strategic projects with day-to-day accountabilities.
• Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication.
