About the role

Torch.AI is seeking candidates who bring creativity to problem-solving, are comfortable working without full clarity, and take responsibility for outcomes. This role involves building a government-owned reasoning infrastructure that enhances machine reasoning at scale, enabling better decisions and protecting national interests.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement modular architectures for data ingestion, orchestration, and governance.
  • Create semantic representations and vectorized data for improved machine understanding.
  • Develop graph-based fusion and reasoning capabilities to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data experts, veterans, and mission practitioners to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Work closely with customers to understand and meet their unique needs and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government standards and regulations related to data ownership and stewardship.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with machine learning, data engineering, and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and privacy principles.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for building long-term infrastructure that endures and evolves.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret/SCI clearance (where required).
  • U.S. citizenship required for all positions.
  • Experience with government data and decision-making environments.
  • Knowledge of federal cybersecurity policies and procedures.
