DevOps Engineer / Azure / Linux / Kubernetes

About the role

A growing technology organization is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team and help drive the evolution of their cloud and deployment infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Improving engineering environments
• Improving CI/CD pipelines
• Improving deployment automation
• Improving operational reliability across cloud-hosted and customer-managed environments

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps, DevOps Consultancy, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
• Kubernetes operational experience in production, able to use cluster management tools such as K9s and Headlamp, familiarity with deployment patterns and restraints
• Hands-on experience in Docker and understanding and knowledge of Docker Swarm systems
• Experience supporting Azure environments
• Experience automating infrastructure and deployment workflows using script languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Able to communicate well and help clients during upgrade processes

Qualifications

• Ability to find fast solutions and is highly motivated
• Comfortable to get on meetings and engage with clients
• Experience supporting SOC 2 or regulated environments

• Ability to solve complex infrastructure challenges
• Ability to automate manual processes
• Ability to stay current with cloud-native technologies
• Ability to partner closely with engineering and operations teams
