Azure / Kubernetes Engineer
About the role
The Azure / Kubernetes Engineer will engineer, operate, secure, troubleshoot, and optimize classified cloud and container environments supporting JPES/JCRM. Responsibilities include operating Azure cloud environments, administering Kubernetes clusters, managing containers, deployments, networking, ingress, storage, and secrets, supporting platform scaling and resilience, troubleshooting application/platform issues, implementing infrastructure automation, supporting monitoring and observability, coordinating vulnerability remediation and platform hardening, and supporting upgrades, patches, and environment changes.
Responsibilities
- Operate Azure cloud environments.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage containers, deployments, networking, ingress, storage, and secrets.
- Support platform scaling and resilience.
- Troubleshoot application/platform issues.
- Implement infrastructure automation.
- Support monitoring and observability.
- Capture vulnerability remediation and platform hardening.
- Support upgrades, patches, and environment changes.
Requirements
- Required Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Business Management discipline. Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
- 5+ years cloud/platform engineering experience.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience.
- Strong Kubernetes experience.
- Container technologies.
- Cloud/network troubleshooting.
- Automation/IaC experience.
- U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility.
Qualifications
- Azure Government Secret/IL6.
- Terraform/Ansible.
- Kubernetes security/STIGs.
- Classified cloud environment experience.

Benefits
Salary range $145,000-$175,000. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
