Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, deployments, services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Ingress.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Bicep.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Configure monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Manage Docker containerization and image repositories.
- Optimize Kubernetes workloads for performance, scalability, and cost.
- Implement RBAC, Network Policies, Pod Security Standards, and Kubernetes security best practices.
- Implement Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues across Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers to improve release processes and deployment automation.
- Implement GitOps practices using Argo CD or Flux (preferred).
- Ensure disaster recovery, backup, and high availability strategies are implemented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Experience with Azure Cloud services, including AKS, Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, and IaC best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience with RBAC, Network Policies, Pod Security Standards, and Kubernetes security best practices.
- Experience with GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
