DevOps Engineer

About the role

DevOps Engineer (5+ years) with hands-on CI/CD, build/release automation, and production support using Jenkins and GitHub in enterprise environments. Strong expertise in application deployment, environment management, scheduling/automation, and troubleshooting across web and application server stacks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, package, and deployment workflows
• Manage branching/merge strategies, pull requests, release tagging, and repository standards using GitHub
• Configure and troubleshoot builds, dependency management, and versioning for consistent releases using Maven/Gradle
• Deploy and configure applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server, manage JVM settings, troubleshoot logs, and support patch/upgrade activities
• Perform application deployments, configuration, service management, and performance/log troubleshooting on Apache Tomcat
• Configure and maintain web tier integrations, routing, and connectivity to application servers using IBM HTTP Server
• Deploy and support Node applications/services, manage configurations and environment promotions on Node.js Runtime
• Create and maintain batch schedules, dependencies, calendars, monitoring, and operational runbooks using Control-M

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps experience
• Hands-on CI/CD, build/release automation, and production support using Jenkins and GitHub in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in application deployment, environment management, scheduling/automation, and troubleshooting across web and application server stacks
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat, IBM HTTP Server, and Node.js Runtime
• Proficiency with Maven/Gradle for build configuration and dependency management
• Experience with Control-M for batch scheduling and monitoring
