DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Support AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route 53, Security Groups, and Application Load Balancers (ALB).
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Packaging and deploying Kubernetes applications using Helm charts.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Assist development teams with automated application deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS CloudWatch and respond to operational alerts.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application issues.
• Create automation scripts using Python and Bash to reduce manual operational tasks.
• Support Linux-based application servers by performing system administration, patching, user management, and performance monitoring.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and security teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2-5 years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, Systems Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, and/or EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route 53, Security Groups, Application Load Balancers (ALB), and other relevant services.
• Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes fundamentals, including pods, deployments, services, namespaces, and ingress.
• Experience using Helm for Kubernetes application deployments.
• Basic Linux administration skills.
• Experience writing automation scripts using Python and/or Bash.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
