DevOps Engineer
About the role
We're seeking a DevOps infrastructure engineer with 5+ years of experience in IT, Software Engineering, Software Development, Pipeline Development, and full software lifecycle development. You'll work with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions and apply DevOps principles to establish or provision virtual machines or networks.
Responsibilities
- Manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions
- Apply DevOps principles to establish or provision virtual machines or networks
- Use cloud service providers to support clients' missions
- Work in our internal innovative labs to enhance skills and explore new technologies
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
- Document and diagram systems for accreditation and leadership concurrence
- Promote DevOps principles to client groups
Requirements
- Experience with on-premises solutions and cloud solutions
- Experience using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, or cloud DevOps tools
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration implementation and security, including in Kubernetes, Docker, and VMware
- Ability to design, integrate, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to bridge communication gaps between development, operations, and security teams
- Ability to document and diagram systems for accreditation and leadership concurrence
- Champion DevOps principles to client groups
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance
- High school diploma or GED
Skills
- Experience with cloud solutions or providers such as AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or GCP
- Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
- Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, or Linux Shell Script
- Knowledge of common build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and NPM
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen's benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
