DevOps Engineer
About the role
The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know how to create efficient and effective solutions so you can quickly deliver the best operational data. Booz Allen is the leading provider of AI services to the nation, and we’re looking for a DevOps engineer with knowledge of AIOps, ML Ops, model ops, and data ops to develop tools and get them into the hands of those who need them most.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Maintain and enhance systems and user support
- Develop a web-based information-sharing platform and technical documentation
- Manage cybersecurity processes and AppSec compliance
- Enable CI/CD pipelines powered by Docker containerization
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Containerd, Podman, or Kaniko
- 4+ years of experience with container orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes, ECS, or ACA
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps and automation platforms, such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Flux
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud service providers, including AWS or Azure, and their associated services and tools
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of UNIX or Linux development and Bash scripting
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Skills
- Experience with programming, including Python, Java, C, or C++
- Experience with Git technologies
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

To support engagement and effective communication, employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings. Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
