DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Role Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big-data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka. Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and improve reliability. Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments. Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirements. Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities. Contribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big-data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and improve reliability.
• Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirements.
• Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities.
• Contribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience; 6+ years with a Master’s.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Strong Linux proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
