Developmental Therapies Site Supervisor

About the role

Lead a growing multi-disciplinary team of Speech, Occupational, Physical, and Music Therapists in an innovative, fast-paced healthcare company pioneering effective treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences. This role involves direct supervision of developmental therapists, collaboration with site leadership, and ensuring outstanding experiences for team members, parents, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a direct supervisor for a team of developmental therapists (SLP, OT, PT, MT), overseeing daily operations.
• Address real-time operational issues, including modifications to physical space, equipment procurement, room assignments, performance management, and handling cancellations.
• Collaborate with the site leadership team (ABA site manager, Site Medical Director, Area Operations Manager) to ensure exceptional site experiences.
• Maintain a daily on-site leadership presence, covering most of the clinic’s operating hours.
• Maintain weekly productivity expectations, including completing discipline-specific evaluations, treatments, and participation in comprehensive CIMs.
• Ensure all DT documentation is completed within Cortica’s expected timeframe.
• Manage team productivity, scheduling, documentation efficiency, capacity utilization, waitlist management, hiring needs, and clinical quality in collaboration with the DT Manager.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members on clinical matters, ensuring consistency with the Cortica Care Model through meetings and direct support.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and collaborate on merit recommendations with the DT Manager.
• Manage time-off requests and work with scheduling to maximize coverage, stepping in as needed.
• May serve as the hiring manager for DT candidates, including interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Act as a representative of Cortica’s DT program, demonstrating professionalism in communication, attire, and demeanor.
• Participate in assigned meetings (Rounds, Leadership, Clinical Integration, Performance Management, etc.).
• Adhere to AMA, ASHA, OTA, APTA, AMTA, BACB, HIPAA, and Human Rights regulations regarding confidentiality and ethical practice.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or doctorate in a related field.
• Licensed to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, or Physical Therapist in California.
• 3+ years of clinical experience with a strong desire to grow leadership skills.
• Experience leading teams in a clinical setting with a focus on program management.
• Demonstrated ability to grow and manage a team while improving processes, patient impact, and customer service.
• Strong leadership and management skills, particularly in communication, collaboration, and goal setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
• Experience with pediatric populations, including individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.

Pay

Base pay ranges based on discipline, experience, and location:

• Music Therapist: $68,888.89 - $86,111.11
• Occupational Therapist: $87,466.67 - $109,333.33
• Speech Language Pathologist: $90,666 - $113,333.33
