About the role
Controlled Contamination Services has been a national provider of facility solutions, technical and decontamination services since 1993. Our clients are in the Life Sciences, Technology, IT, Defense, and Aerospace industries. The Site Supervisor oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific accounts or group sites. This role requires over 1 year of experience in cleaning and/or janitorial arenas and expertise in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling, and training.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
- Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques.
- Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
- Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
- Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
- Performs other duties as defined by supervisor, which may vary depending on the service environment (e.g., janitorial tasks in GMP spaces or data centers requiring specialized training).
Requirements
- Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
- Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities: standing, walking, lifting/climbing, talking/hearing, using hands to finger/handle/feel, and reaching with hands or arms.
- Weight or force requirement: Up to 40 pounds.
- May work in loud environments (e.g., metal can manufacturing departments, large earth-moving equipment).
