About the role
The Divisions of General Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology at the University of Utah School of Medicine seeks a full-time Developmental Pediatrician.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct outpatient neurodevelopmental clinical care in the University Developmental Assessment Clinics (UDAC) including the Child Development Program, and in the Division of Pediatric Neurology.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including developmental pediatricians and nurse practitioners, speech language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, registered nurses, psychologists, and pediatric neurologists to provide assessments and diagnosis to children who have or are at high risk for developmental problems, and neurological care.
- Carry out clinical activities at both Primary Children's Hospital locations in Salt Lake City and Lehi, UT, and Primary Children's Outpatient Services Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
- Engage in academic work including education, investigation, and administration, as well as advocacy for children with special health care needs.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics.
- Experience in the care of, assessment, and treatment of children and adolescents, preferably with developmental disabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Qualifications
- Academic appointment commensurate with level of experience will be provided by the University of Utah.
