About the role
The City of Holyoke seeks a Development Specialist to support the Director of OPED and Assistant Director of Economic Development.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Director of OPED and Assistant Director of Economic Development in advancing economic development, real estate, business recruitment and retention, and planning initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in economic development, real estate, business recruitment and retention, and planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, urban planning, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local government processes and procedures.

Pay
- $50,614.56 – $66,937.75 (Grade 8, AFSCME).
Schedule
