CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate donor and constituent records and support ongoing data integrity efforts.
  • Process gifts and pledges, prepare donor acknowledgments, and maintain related records.
  • Generate reports, lists, and spreadsheets to support fundraising, stewardship, and departmental planning.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Development and Development team, including scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.
  • Aid with budget tracking, deposits, and reconciliation in partnership with the Business Office.
  • Support fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship activities, and selected Development events.
  • Create and manage online forms, surveys, and other tools that support Development initiatives.
  • Learn and utilize database and software systems to improve efficiency and support departmental goals.

Educational And Professional Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s degree in related field.
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years of general office experience. Prefer experience within a development office.
  • Certification and/or Credentials: n/a
  • Equivalency: Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience may be considered in place of the above requirements.

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of office procedures, general office equipment, and the ability to coordinate and maintain development services processes and procedures and suggest modifications when needed.
  • Excellent computer skills with thorough knowledge of a variety of software packages including Blackbaud/Raisers’ Edge.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, writing and mathematical skills.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Days: In general, this position is scheduled to work on campus Monday-Friday year-round but is expected to work as necessary to ensure position responsibilities are consistently met.
  • Hours: This position is scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The actual times worked are determined by the Head of School given the nature and seasonality of this position. Both planned and unplanned needs may require work outside of normal daytime business hours.
