Responsibilities
- Maintain an active pipeline of sponsorship, donor, and partnership prospects.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sponsorship revenue, donor engagement, and fundraising performance.
- Track relationship activity, opportunities, and fundraising progress within organizational systems.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and achieve annual fundraising and revenue goals.
- Provide regular reports on fundraising performance, sponsorship activity, partnership development, and pipeline health.
- Identify new opportunities for organizational growth, community engagement, and mission advancement.
- Serve as a key ambassador for Touched by Type 1 within the community and among organizational stakeholders.
Requirements
- Passionate about the mission of Touched by Type 1.
- 3–7+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, business development, donor relations, or relationship management.
- Demonstrated success generating revenue through sponsorships, fundraising, partnerships, business development, or donor engagement initiatives.
- Strong communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding sponsors, donors, and community partners.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and relationships simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, entrepreneurial, and results-driven.
- Skilled at building long-term relationships and creating strategic partnerships that drive measurable impact.
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising, healthcare philanthropy, corporate partnerships, event fundraising, or donor development strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, business administration, marketing, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
