Development Operations Manager - Saint Paul Port Authority

About the role

The Development Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight for 400 Wabasha (formerly Treasure Island Center) in downtown Saint Paul while managing CAM administration across the Port Authority’s portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-performing, tenant-focused building operations, including day-to-day management, financial oversight, vendor coordination, and tenant relations.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for 400 Wabasha tenants, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and high-quality tenant experience.
• Contributes to the strategic positioning of 400 Wabasha by supporting leasing efforts, managing tenant improvement projects, and identifying opportunities to enhance asset performance and value.
• Collaborates on redevelopment and capital improvement initiatives, offering a pathway to grow into a development associate, project manager, or broader real estate development role within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Experience in managing large-scale facilities and teams.
• Strong understanding of building operations, financial management, and tenant relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of building automation systems and energy management tools.
• Experience with lease administration and tenant relations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
