Development Manager

Village Learning Place is looking for a strong writer, relationship-builder, and nonprofit development generalist to help grow the support behind our mission.

About the role

This full-time, hybrid Baltimore role leads grant writing and reporting, donor engagement, individual giving, fundraising events, development communications, and donor systems. The new Development Manager will also help VLP prepare for its 30th anniversary and advance a capital campaign.

Responsibilities

• Lead grant writing and reporting
• Manage donor engagement and individual giving initiatives
• Organize fundraising events
• Oversee development communications
• Maintain and improve donor systems
• Support preparation for VLP’s 30th anniversary
• Advance a capital campaign

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant experience in nonprofit development
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Professional maturity and adaptability
• Genuine energy for engaging with the Baltimore community
• Capital campaign experience is a plus

Pay

$60,000–$65,000

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week | Hybrid in Baltimore
