About the role
The Development Manager plays a key role in advancing the mission of Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville by supporting and growing signature fundraising programs and community-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and growth of the Adopt-a-Room program, including donor recruitment, renewals, recognition and stewardship.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager and liaison for McDonald’s, stewarding this important partnership and identifying opportunities for growth and deeper engagement.
- Oversee the Deck the Doors holiday campaign, managing sponsor outreach, participant engagement, logistics and event execution.
- Provide support for affinity groups, helping build donor pipelines while supporting donor growth and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all third-party fundraising events, providing guidance, resources and support to community partners hosting events on behalf of the organization.
- Oversee the Hope Comes Home Radiothon, working alongside our radio partner while securing corporate and community partners to increase the reach and revenue of the promotion.
- Serve as a liaison within the community, actively building and strengthening relationships with local businesses, civic groups, community and corporate partners including stewarding in-House volunteer groups.
- Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities and partner meetings to increase visibility and engagement.
- Ensure timely and meaningful donor recognition, acknowledgments and impact reporting.
- Always provide a smiling face and helpful attitude when in contact with House guests.
- Attend all meetings and trainings as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in fundraising or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience working within a non-profit organization.
- Candidate must believe in the core values of Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville and be driven by the mission.
- Proven experience in a self-directed work environment and successful project management execution.
