Development Manager

About the Role

Join our Real Estate and Development team as a Development Manager who will monitor, drive, manage, and report on the design and construction plans for assigned development projects in accordance with the plan outlined by management. This position will serve as a liaison and point of contact between design consultants, contractors, community and corporate teams, and manager for overall communication on progress and status on the project(s).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, monitor, review, and report on project budgets and change orders.
• Monitor and report on construction quality and overall adherence to design and enterprise standards and guidelines.
• Review and escalate issues as required to maintain project schedule, budget, standards and guidelines, and design intent.
• Monitor and review RFIs and Submittals.
• Manage and report on construction meetings with internal and external partners.
• Review and verify accuracy of project pay applications and make a recommendation for action.
• Manage, coordinate, and participate in punch list and building turnover processes.
• Attend and document post-occupancy, warranty, and other post-turnover review meetings to ensure timely resolution to open issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Senior Living.
• Overall 10 years of real estate and construction experience with a focus on multifamily preferred.

Pay

$140,000 - $150,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus.

Schedule

This position is based in our Catonsville, MD office with travel to project sites as required.
