Development Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain donor and constituent databases
  • Process donations, acknowledgments, and donor correspondence
  • Prepare fundraising materials, reports, mailing lists, and communications
  • Support fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, and donor stewardship activities
  • Auxiliary donor research and grant-related administrative support
  • Cook up memorial and tribute giving programs
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, filing, mailings, and recordkeeping
  • Auxiliary fundraising and special event logistics and onsite support
  • Generate reports and analyze donor and fundraising data

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit administration
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with donor databases such as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Experience in nonprofit development operations strongly preferred
  • Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively
  • Comfortable interacting with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners
