Development Coordinator
About the role
This is a hybrid position, expected to work in person 3 days per week. We are a mission-driven design collective that approaches architecture with an interdisciplinary focus on improving people’s lives in measurable ways. Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of projects primarily built-work in the affordable housing, health care, and community development portfolio.
- Full scope of design from concept, through working drawings, and construction administration.
- Contribute across project phases, from early phase conceptual design work through design development, construction documentation and construction administration.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced designers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related architectural design and project-based experience.
- A professional degree in architecture (BARCH or MARCH).
- A strong portfolio showing excellence in design iteration, concept development, and visual communication.
- Substantive construction administration experience is preferred; some CA experience is required.
Qualifications
- Licensure is preferred but not required.
- Command of Revit as the primary tool for architectural drawing is a must; proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam and the ability to work seamlessly between software platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in team settings, while exhibiting individual initiative.
- Comfortable leading coordination of interdisciplinary teams, managing project schedules and budgets and effectively communicating and coordinating with sub consultants.
- Ability to communicate across a broad group of stakeholders including senior staff, partners/clients, contractors, and the communities they serve.
- Interest in low-carbon design & construction and building performance.
- Commitment to working in the Boston area and contributing positively to the global office culture.
- Previous experience working in multi-family housing or healthcare is a plus.
Skills

Pay
Expected salary range for this position will start at $90,000 and increase commensurate with experience.
