Responsibilities
- Aid staff with day-to-day tasks supporting fundraising and volunteer recruitment/management activities.
- Cook up logistics for select events and meetings, from pre-event to post-event duties.
- Create, input, and maintain information in various computer software programs, including a CRM and event-specific software.
- Generate reports, manipulating data from multiple systems.
- Handle office management/reception duties, rotating with other administrative staff.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, handle incoming calls, maintain supplies and materials, and liaise with vendors.
- Manage financial tasks such as paying invoices, tracking expenses, and processing donations.
- Keep staff calendars updated and handle scheduling.
- Create event and meeting materials as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of prior relevant work experience, including managing multiple projects and data management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative working relationships.
- Experience in coordinating, planning, and implementing corporate events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Canva.
- Ability to travel locally for work.
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and manage volunteers.
- Knowledge of corporate and community networks.
- Understanding of American Heart Association’s mission and programs.
- Experience with Salesforce and Luminate software.
