Responsibilities
- Process all gifts including checks, ACH transfers, and online gifts through platforms such as QGIV or other digital giving tools.
- Ensure timely deposit of gifts and accurate recording in the organization’s CRM system.
- Maintain accurate donor records and supporting documentation within the database.
- Enter new donor records, opportunities, and relevant updates into the CRM system.
- Track pledges, pledge payments, and recurring gifts.
- Support preparation and distribution of donor acknowledgments and gift confirmations.
- Maintain organized donor files and gift documentation to support reporting and donor stewardship.
- Aid in development reporting, data verification, and internal record reviews.
- Support ongoing data updates and record maintenance within the donor database.
- Collaborate with the Development Operations & Digital Coordinator to maintain accurate and reliable development data systems.
- Support scheduling of development meetings, donor visits, and internal planning meetings.
- Aid in preparation of development materials for meetings, events, and board committees.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for development committee meetings.
- Aid in grant preparation logistics and submission tracking.
- Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting schedules.
- Support document preparation and internal coordination for grant submissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, administrative operations, database management, or a related role.
- Experience working with CRM or donor database systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to CHP’s mission of supporting under-resourced and small-acreage landowners and advancing generational land ownership.
Pay
Hiring Range: $40,000 – $45,000, commensurate with experience
