Eden Centers for Hope and Healing (Eden Centers) is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Development and Grants Coordinator to support the organization’s fundraising and development operations during a period of continued growth. This role manages grant activity across the full lifecycle and provides essential support for development systems, gift processing, and administrative coordination. Reporting to the Development Director and working closely with senior leadership, the Development and Grants Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining grant compliance and documentation, coordinating reporting and audit preparation, processing charitable contributions, and supporting donor communications, campaigns, and organizational materials.

Responsibilities

  • Grant Management:
    • Manages all grant activities across the full lifecycle from pre-award to post-award.
    • Maintain grant files and documentation.
    • Ensure adherence to 2 CFR 200 (if federal funds involved).
    • Assist financial director in preparing for audits and monitoring visits.
    • Maintain grant calendar and reporting deadlines.
    • Assist development director with relationship management that includes liaison to funders and organize site visits.
    • Improve grant management processes.
  • Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Support the coordination of the annual fundraising event, all campaigns, appeals, and stewardship practices under the guidance of the CEO and Development Director.
    • Assist CEO with scheduling or conducting tours of Eden Centers for donors and prospects.
    • Organize communication with donors who have made gifts, in-kind donations, sponsorships, or general support, including acknowledgments and follow-ups (e.g., thank-you letters).
    • Support moves management tracking.
    • Process charitable contributions and complete gift entry into CRM.
    • Manage all donor mailing lists, and under the direction of the Development Director, conduct mass mailings.
    • Identify and maintain in-kind donation lists and coordinate requests for in-kind donations through Eden Center’s communication channels and partners to support residents and ongoing operations, programs, maintenance, repair, and capital costs.
    • Manage subscribers and messaging for Eden Centers online forums, including supporting creative production and distribution of Eden Centers’ monthly newsletter.
    • Work with the leadership team to develop written and visual content for annual reports, program brochures, website content, social media posts, marketing/collateral materials, etc.
    • Contribute to overarching organization, budget, grant/foundation, and fundraising goals by participating in cross-functional working groups.
    • Prepare meeting materials for Eden Centers’ internal and external events, celebrations, and meetings, fostering clear communication and respect among staff members.
    • Provide proofreading support on all communications materials to ensure complete accuracy.
    • Provide ongoing maintenance of the Eden Centers website.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • General Duties:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferred.
  • 3–5 years’ experience working in a professional office setting (communications, fundraising, non-profit, or sales-related field preferred).
  • Familiarity with project management best practices.
  • Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office, nonprofit CRMs (e.g., NEON), project management software, and donor research tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Pay

Salary range is $48,500 to $50,000.
