Developer Technology Engineer, AI - New College Grad 2026

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a passionate, world-class computer scientist to join its Compute Developer Technology (Devtech) team as an AI Developer Technology Engineer. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of advanced AI solutions using GPUs.

Responsibilities

• Study and develop state-of-the-art techniques in deep learning, machine learning, and perform in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure the best possible performance on current- and next-generation GPU architectures.
• Provide the best AI solutions using GPUs, working directly with key customers.
• Collaborate closely with the architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams to influence the design of next-generation architectures, software platforms, and programming models.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a MS or PhD in an engineering or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, software design, programming techniques, and AI algorithms.
• Experience with parallel programming, ideally CUDA C/C++.
• Excellent communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, time management, and task prioritization.

Qualifications

• A background that includes low-level performance optimizations and computer architecture.
• Expertise in parallelization and performance optimization of Deep Learning models arising from Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Recommender Systems, etc.

Benefits

• Competitive Base Salary Range: $124,000 - $195,500 for Level 2, and $152,000 - $241,500 for Level 3.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is $124,000 - $195,500 for Level 2, and $152,000 - $241,500 for Level 3.
