Developer Technology Engineer, AI - New College Grad 2026
About the role
NVIDIA is tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. As an AI Developer Technology Engineer in the Compute Developer Technology (Devtech) team, you’ll help shape a new computing model—GPU deep learning—that enables computers to learn from data and write software too complex for people to code.
Responsibilities
- Study and develop state-of-the-art techniques in deep learning and machine learning, and perform in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure the best possible performance on current- and next-generation GPU architectures.
- Provide the best AI solutions using GPUs by working directly with key customers.
- Collaborate closely with architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams to influence the design of next-generation architectures, software platforms, and programming models.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed an MS or PhD in engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of C/C++, software design, programming techniques, and AI algorithms.
- Experience with parallel programming, ideally CUDA C/C++.
- Excellent communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, time management, and task prioritization.
Skills
- Background in low-level performance optimizations and computer architecture.
- Expertise in parallelization and performance optimization of deep learning models arising from Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Recommender Systems, etc.
Pay
Base salary ranges: 124,000 USD – 195,500 USD (Level 2) or 152,000 USD – 241,500 USD (Level 3), depending on location, experience, and position level. Eligible for equity and benefits.
