Developer Technology Engineer, AI - New College Grad 2026

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a passionate, world-class computer scientist to join its Compute Developer Technology (Devtech) team as an AI Developer Technology Engineer. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art deep learning techniques and collaborate with key customers and cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Study and develop state of the art techniques in deep learning, machine learning, and perform in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure the best possible performance on current- and next-generation GPU architectures.
• Provide the best AI solutions using GPUs working directly with key customers.
• Collaborate closely with the architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams to influence the design of next-generation architectures, software platforms, and programming models.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a MS or PhD in an engineering or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, software design, programming techniques, and AI algorithms.
• Experience with parallel programming, ideally CUDA C/C++.
• Excellent communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, time management, and task prioritization skills.

Qualifications

• A background that includes low-level performance optimizations and computer architecture.
• Expertise in parallelization and performance optimization of Deep Learning models arising from Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Recommender Systems, etc.

Benefits

• Competitive Base Salary Range: $124,000 - $195,500 for Level 2, and $152,000 - $241,500 for Level 3.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
