About the Role
The purpose of this role is to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that need to be deployed at a client end, ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters.
Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and contribute to the design of software products.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas and follow the software development life cycle.
- Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and problem statements.
- Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
- Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts to investigate software requirements.
- Confer with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities.
- Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development.
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and proposed software.
- Develop and automate processes for software validation by setting up and designing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of existing systems.
- Ensure code is error-free, has no bugs, and passes all test cases.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
- Ensure all code is raised per project norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
- Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and reports as requested.
- Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress, documenting it thoroughly.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks, and report to stakeholders.
- Maintain ongoing status reporting and customer focus regarding project execution.
- Capture all client requirements and clarifications to ensure high-quality work.
- Take regular feedback to ensure smooth and on-time delivery.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on best practices and new programming languages.
- Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications.
- Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and clear code.
- Ensure formal documentation of necessary details for proper software understanding from client proposal to implementation.
- Maintain high-quality customer interactions via email, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
- Respond timely to customer requests with no instances of complaints internally or externally.
Performance Parameters
- Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring of Software: 100% error-free onboarding & implementation, throughput %, adherence to schedule/release plan.
- Quality & CSAT: On-time delivery, software management, troubleshooting queries, customer experience, completion of assigned certifications for skill upgradation.
- MIS & Reporting: 100% on-time MIS and report generation.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in software development.
- Expertise in GenAI Consulting for Apps & Infra.
Pay
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
