Developer - Apex/VF
Pay rate: $53.00 - $55.00/hr.
About the role
As an engineer you collaborate with cross-functional teams and will influence the design and drive value and trust across teams. You will help the organization develop customer-centric quality applications. You will be responsible for proposing and developing the tools and testing frameworks requirements to improve engineers' productivity in environment setup and testing automation. You will build, enhance, monitor, and maintain necessary test automation infrastructure to support this effort.
Responsibilities
- Develop, administer, manage, configure, and maintain enterprise applications.
- Understand all aspects of enterprise application configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases.
- Develop applications, debug code, implement monitoring systems, and deploy to production.
- Maintain updated system documentation and policies/procedures.
- Proactively monitor services to identify and resolve issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify technology modifications that will impact business processes.
- Partner with various teams to implement new functionality via Agile-based processes.
- Manage tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on stakeholder satisfaction and efficient task execution.
- Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls.
- Produce good test plans/specs and hands-on programming.
- Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues to resolution.
- Effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree—ideally in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 9+ years of administration and development experience.
- Experience developing on the company website platform & APIs.
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Integration and Data Cloud.
- Strong working knowledge of APEX (classes, triggers, and web services), APIs, SOQL, LWC, Force.com platform, and Communities.
- Experience working with Agentforce applications.
- Experience working with Slack and Integration.
- Experience in Agile and ability to estimate, design, build, unit test, and deploy solutions.
- Expert ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
- Experience delivering engineering applications using Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience using Source Control Management systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder, and Certified Platform Administrator certifications.
- Certification in Force.com and Integration would be an added advantage.
- Participate in product and feature design with technical staff members, business systems analysts, and product managers.
Pay
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $53.00 - $55.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.
