Dev Ops Engineer

On-site in Plano, TX. Our client seeks a Dev Ops Engineer to support integration and decommissioning efforts through 2027. The contractor will enhance CI/CD pipelines, improve observability, and participate in incident and on-call readiness while collaborating with software engineering teams. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Implement and refine observability for SRE, including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure service readiness.
• Drive incident management and TOC processes for rapid recovery and root-cause tracking.
• Collaborate with software engineers to support build, deploy, and IDE-driven workflows.
• Contribute to reliability improvements for integration and decommissioning milestones.

Experience Requirements

• Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Experience with SRE practices and observability tooling.
• Demonstrated on-call participation and incident management.
• Programming experience and working knowledge of IDE usage.
