Dev Ops Engineer

Infrastructure, security, and operations

• Establish and manage Alva’s internal cybersecurity program, including security policies, controls, monitoring, and employee practices, to protect company systems
• Lead implementation of data loss prevention measures across internal systems and endpoints
• Manage internal server infrastructure, including configuration, backup and recovery
• Own identity and access management, including user provisioning, permissions, authentication
• Manage Alva’s internal VPN and secure network access tools
• Identify and manage infrastructure and cybersecurity risks; improve incident response readiness, logging, and recovery procedures
• Evaluate and implement tools for secure development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and systems administration

Engineering quality and support

• Help implement CI/CD pipelines, code review standards, testing requirements, and automated checks
• Support root-cause investigation of software and test failures; implement corrective and preventive actions
• Support engineering documentation

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, infrastructure engineering, cybersecurity, or related roles
• Hands-on experience administering internal servers, cloud or hybrid infrastructure, identity and access controls, backups, and secure network access
• Experience with CI/CD systems, automated testing, code quality checks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience also considered
