Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients in detox and residential levels of care.
- Administer medications, including MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment), as prescribed.
- Monitor clients for withdrawal symptoms and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide education and support to clients regarding their treatment and recovery process.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Uphold infection control and safety protocols within the facility.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional approach when interacting with clients in crisis.
Qualifications
- RN license in the state of Massachusetts (active and in good standing).
- Experience in detox, substance abuse treatment, or behavioral health preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills.
- Knowledge of detox protocols, withdrawal management, and MAT preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
