Detailer for Custom Service Trucks: $20/hr, Weekly Pay
About the role
Detail newly built trucks before they are delivered to the customer. Tasks include washing the exterior, sweeping the interior, installing weatherstripping, decals, finishing silicone, installing door shocks, touching up paint scratches, weighing the vehicle, and performing a first round of Quality Assurance. The role may also involve detailing 10-15 used trucks per year, which includes power washing dirt and grease off the exterior and removing decals.
Responsibilities
- Wash truck exteriors and sweep interiors
- Install weatherstripping, decals, and door shocks
- Apply finishing silicone and touch up paint scratches
- Weigh vehicles and perform initial Quality Assurance checks
- Detail used trucks, including power washing exteriors and removing decals
- Safely climb a 6' step ladder
- Safely drive large commercial trucks around the parking lot
Requirements
- High attention to detail is mandatory
- Must be able to work independently
- Must pass a background and drug test
