Truck Detailer

Western Express HQ is in Nashville, TN. All outside terminals, located across the country, have a small-town, tight-knit family atmosphere. Whether you are in Nashville or at one of our outlying locations, you are treated like family.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail semi-trucks, applying cleaning chemicals to interiors.
• Vacuum and wipe down all interior surfaces, disposing of trash left in the cab.
• Support Shop Manager objectives by performing tasks such as garbage disposal, floor sweeping, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Safely execute assigned duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in detailing semi tractors or cars preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50+ lbs., bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and motor vehicle record check, with no DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding verbal instructions in English.
• In-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position due to the collaborative nature of the work environment.
