About the Role

A Make Ready Auto Detailer will clean, refurbish, and detail vehicles sold by the dealership. You will inspect for imperfections in repairs while cleaning the vehicle and correct imperfections or inform management of any issues.

Responsibilities

• Clean, refurbish, and detail vehicles for customer delivery after repair, including exterior, interior, underside, trunk area, and under hood
• Install pin stripes, decals, and emblems as required
• Polish and/or wax vehicles as directed
• Inform management of any imperfections found during inspection
• Retrieve vehicles from and return to shop or storage area
• Keep working area clean and organized
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations, including those for hazardous waste disposal
• Demonstrate behavior aligned with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Inspect quality of work to ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Must meet company’s employment requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional appearance
• Ability to provide quality customer service
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to exercise good judgment and follow direction

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Able to withstand inclement weather and outdoor/shop elements
• Lift up to 30+ pounds
• Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and handle parts and equipment
• Work in an environment with dust and exposure to various chemical compounds and paint
