Destination Care Navigator
Job Summary
The Destination Care Patient Navigator is a senior-level, non-clinical, onsite patient-facing role responsible for delivering concierge-level navigation services to domestic, international, and high-profile patients seeking specialty care across multiple CommonSpirit Health markets. This role functions as a single, centralized point of contact for patients, families, referring providers, and ensures a seamless experience throughout every stage of the care journey.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate complex, multi-specialty appointments and multi-step logistical needs;
- Facilitate gathering of important documents to support operational and financial workflows (e.g., embassy authorization);
- Troubleshoot operational barriers when they arise.
Requirements
- Required: Bachelors degree in related field (healthcare, business, communications, international studies, hospitality) or 2+ years to 5+ years of experience delivering concierge-level patient or client services in a complex medical or hospitality environment;
- PREFERRED: Other degree in a medical field or equivalent and 4-6 years experience in destination medicine, international patient services, complex specialty care coordination, concierge healthcare, or high-complexity logistics planning within a healthcare environment, upon hire;
- 1-3 years experience supporting high-acuity, multi-specialty, high-profile, or cross-market patient navigation within a large multi-site health system, upon hire;
- 1-3 years experience working with self-pay programs;
- Multi-lingual Spanish or Arabic;
- Certificate: Other certification in medical interpretation and/or medical translation;
- Experience with international sponsorships, and governmental/embassy payers.

Pay Range
$29.44 - $43.79 /hour
