Dessert Bakery Chef

About the role

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI (Verona area) and requires relocation to the area; we recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance. You will work alongside talented culinary professionals in a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art bakery facility (opened June 2023) to compose and scratch‑bake desserts such as cookies, cakes, pies, and more.

Responsibilities

• Compose and scratch‑bake a variety of desserts (cookies, cakes, pies, etc.)
• Create and trial new recipes daily while mastering tried‑and‑true favorites
• Participate in catered events hosted at Epic to showcase new creations
• Work with a high level of autonomy from the outset, with opportunities to grow into leadership and management roles
• Learn alongside world‑class bakery staff through mentored growth opportunities

Requirements

• Professional baking experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting
• Dessert baking experience preferred
• Ability to live within 45 minutes of Epic’s Campus in Verona, WI or willingness to relocate
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• COVID‑19 vaccination required

Pay

Competitive pay with annual bonus and raise.

Schedule

Full‑time hours with start times between 5 am and 8 am, Monday through Friday.
