Dessert Bakery Chef

About the role

Work alongside talented and passionate culinary professionals to compose and scratch-bake desserts like cookies, cakes, pies, and more in our state-of-the-art facility (opened June 2023). You will have mentored growth opportunities and learn alongside world-class bakery staff. Epic menus change daily, allowing you to create and trial new recipes while mastering tried‑and‑true favorites. Catered events hosted at Epic provide chances to try new things and show off. You’ll enjoy a high level of autonomy from the outset, with opportunities to grow into leadership and management roles.

Responsibilities

• Compose and scratch‑bake desserts (cookies, cakes, pies, etc.)
• Create and trial new recipes based on daily changing menus
• Participate in catered events to showcase your work
• Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in a high‑volume bakery environment
• Collaborate with team members while exercising autonomy

Requirements

• Professional baking experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting
• Dessert baking experience preferred
• Live within 45 minutes of Epic’s Campus in Verona, WI, or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided)
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• COVID‑19 vaccination

Pay

Schedule

Full‑time hours, 5 am–8 am start time, Monday‑Friday.
