Desktop Support Technician II | Evenings

Responsibilities

• Tests, implements, and documents new/existing solutions for hardware/software to improve and standardize the organization's usage of systems related to desktop support hardware.
• Assists in imaging computers with the Windows operating system for incident and service requests from the hospital.
• Assists with clinic setups when needed and ensures that hardware such as scanners and Imprivata are working as intended at these clinics.
• Affords hardware setup for users requesting a conference room be set up with computer hardware.
• Affords support for new processes and software implementations.
• Maintains and deploys various desktop technologies and solutions; analyzes and makes recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
• Addresses user tickets regarding hardware, software.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency Diploma
• Comp TIA A+ CERTIFICATION
• ITIL Foundations Certification or a related field certification
• 3+ years progressively responsible experience in Technical Support of Computers Systems
• Fleet Safety

PREFERRED

• Associate's degree in Business
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years progressively responsible experience in Technical Support of Computers Systems
