Desktop Support Specialist – Indiana | Contract-to-Hire We’re hiring a hands-on Desktop Support Specialist to provide onsite IT support across three Indiana manufacturing facilities: Franklin, Plainfield, and Liberty. 🚨 PLEASE NOTE: This is a W2 opportunity only. NO C2C, NO third-party candidates, and NO staffing/consulting agency inquiries. Please do not call or email regarding C2C or subcontracting opportunities. 📍 Location & Travel This position is 100% onsite and requires regular travel between all three facilities: Franklin: Approximately 3 days/weekPlainfield: Approximately 1 day/weekLiberty: Approximately 1 day/week, with some flexibilityFranklin and Plainfield are about 30 minutes apart; Liberty is approximately 90 minutes from FranklinMileage reimbursement and/or a company pool vehicle may be available What You'll Do Provide onsite desktop and end-user support in office, warehouse, and manufacturing environmentsTroubleshoot Windows PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, applications, and connectivity issuesSupport Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, including account setup, permissions, unlocks, and licensingDeploy, configure, and replace Dell and HP computersAssist with Microsoft Intune and endpoint projectsDocument tickets and resolutions in FreshserviceProvide basic network “smart hands” support for remote infrastructure teams, including cabling, switches, equipment reboots, and connectivity troubleshootingSupport IT projects, upgrades, deployments, and remediation efforts across all three locations What We're Looking For 2–5 years of desktop support, help desk, field support, or similar IT experienceStrong Windows troubleshootingExperience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365PC deployment and hardware/peripheral troubleshooting experienceBasic networking knowledgeStrong customer service and independent problem-solving skillsComfortable supporting users and equipment on an active manufacturing floorAbility and willingness to drive between all three Indiana facilities Nice to have: Intune, Freshservice, Fortinet, scripting/automation Steel-toe Footwear Is Required While Working In Manufacturing Areas.
