Desktop Support Specialist

About the role

Talent Software Services is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a contract position in New York, NY. The opportunity is initially for one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Responsibilities

• Participate in device rollouts and configuration
• Troubleshoot image and device-related issues
• Image laptops using a USB stick
• Replace and configure 32" monitors
• Support a project involving the replacement of 1000+ monitors
• Work weekends as needed to meet project demands
• Lift equipment weighing 50 lbs or more and perform tasks requiring extended mobility

Requirements

• Financial institute or banking experience preferred
• Experience using Dell new laptops
• Strong troubleshooting and device-building skills
• Proven experience in device rollout and configuration
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to multiple concurrent projects
