Desktop Support - Jacksonville, FL

This role involves providing desktop support for approximately 45 users in Jacksonville, FL, with the opportunity to travel to remote locations. You will work independently to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, report findings, and assist with imaging laptops and desktops. Collaboration with the infrastructure team will be essential, particularly in network troubleshooting and user support during a significant company acquisition.Key Responsibilities:Provide on-site desktop support for approximately 45 users, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.Imaging laptops and desktops to prepare for new users and locations as the company expands.Utilize Active Directory and Microsoft Admin Center to manage user accounts and permissions effectively.Troubleshoot Windows and Office applications, ensuring a smooth user experience and minimal downtime.Collaborate with the infrastructure team to relay network-related issues and findings.Assist with level 1 support calls and monitor the ticketing system for remote support requests.Required Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of desktop experience in a corporate environment, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in imaging laptops and desktops, with experience in preparing devices for users.Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Admin Center for user management.Strong Windows and Office troubleshooting skills, with a focus on resolving user issues efficiently.Good network troubleshooting skills, capable of communicating findings to the infrastructure team.Experience with Azure, Entra, and Intune is a plus, as well as knowledge of printer issues, particularly HP and Zebra.Additional Details:Location: Jacksonville, FL 32206Travel: 25% with reimbursementThis is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role during a company acquisition, with the chance to work independently and develop your career as the organization expands across Florida.
