About the Role
Everforth Apex is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for agency users in Windows-based environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support for agency users in Windows-based environments.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop hardware and software.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues both onsite and remotely.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and connectivity support.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while responding to user requests and incidents.
- Document issues, resolutions, and support activities as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on desktop support experience.
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software in a Windows environment.
- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the service area.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in physically demanding or uncomfortable positions for extended periods when necessary.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and ticketing systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
